Jon Stewart spent the opening of his Daily Show this week blasting Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency, which the Tesla CEO is leading, over its headline-making drastic budget cuts to various government programs. Stewart got so passionate on the subject that he inadvertently cut his hand on a mug he smashed and finished his monologue with his hand under his desk as blood was gushing from it.

The comedian may be up for Round 2, sparring with the subject of his wrath, Musk.

Responding to a video tweet by a little known account @FarzadMedia with few followers, titled “Elon Musk Should Go On Jon Stewart’s Daily Show,” the social media platform’s chairman Musk wrote yesterday, “I will do it if the show airs unedited.”
