The famous sisters each have two children, whom they proudly share on social media. One sister has even admitted that having her kids “was never easy.”
Tia and Tamera Mowry, best known for starring in the hit sitcom “Sister, Sister” (1994–1999), are now parents — with one of their children notably having blue eyes.
The beloved comedy, which followed separated-at-birth twins Tia Landry and Tamera Campbell, not only entertained audiences but also launched the sisters’ successful acting careers.

Since “Sister, Sister,” Tia and Tamera have continued working in television and film. Reflecting on their longevity in the industry during a 2011 interview, Tamera credited their grounded upbringing.
Their parents, who were not in the entertainment business, prioritized values over fame. “They always taught us that acting is just a job. You’re not better than anyone else,” Tamera explained, emphasizing that this perspective helped her balance life and career.

The famous twins’ strong family values not only shaped their careers but also deepened their appreciation for the opportunities they received. Tia, in particular, has never forgotten how “Sister, Sister” changed her life.
In an April 2024 interview celebrating the show’s 30th anniversary, she described the first episode as “a dream come true.” For the actress, having her childhood aspirations come to life at such a young age was both “amazing and wonderful.”

Tia’s love for “Sister, Sister” remains strong, and she still holds out hope for a reboot of the beloved ’90s sitcom. In an episode of People’s “Defend Yourself,” she explained that legal complications have stalled the project.
Securing the rights proved challenging, which ultimately delayed progress. With both she and Tamera committed to other opportunities, the cookbook author admitted it’s disappointing that the revival is on hold.
Despite the challenges with a potential “Sister, Sister” reboot, Tia continues to focus on her career and family. Following her divorce from actor Cory Hardrict in 2023, she has embraced life as a devoted single mother.
Announcing the split on Instagram, she expressed gratitude for the happy moments they shared and emphasized their commitment to maintaining a friendship while co-parenting.
During their 15-year marriage, Tia and Cory welcomed son Cree and daughter Cairo Hardrict. Cree was born in June 2011 and when he turned 12, Tia shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute, expressing her pride in his kindness, curiosity, and adventurous spirit.
She reflected on how quickly time has passed, marveling at the young man he is becoming, “I am just endlessly proud of him, and even though he tries to act grown, he’ll always be my baby! Love you Cree.”
Tia and Cory welcomed their daughter, Cairo, in May 2018. Sharing the news on social media, Tia announced the newborn’s arrival with a heartfelt post, noting her gratitude and joy. She described the moment as pure bliss, “We are in heaven.”
Tia’s joy in motherhood continued to shine when she celebrated Cairo’s third birthday in May 2021. Sharing a montage of her daughter over the years, she acknowledged the challenges of having children, admitting it “was never easy” and that’s why she waited before trying again.
Despite the difficulties, Tia remained thankful for not giving up. She praised the now-six-year-old’s humor, intelligence, and affectionate nature, cherishing the joy her daughter brings into her life.
Tia’s deep appreciation for motherhood continued the following month when she shared a heartfelt moment on Instagram. Posting a photo of the first time she held Cairo, she called being a mother her “greatest accomplishment.”
The mother of two acknowledged the challenges of both pregnancies but emphasized that every difficulty was worth it. She expressed her everlasting love for her daughter, cherishing the bond they share.
Tia continues to navigate motherhood with honesty and openness following her divorce. At the premiere of her new WE tv series, “Tia Mowry: My Next Act,” she shared a touching moment from the first episode where Cairo gives her a “worry doll” to ease her concerns.
Tia explained that she chooses to parent authentically, allowing her daughter to witness both her joys and struggles. She believes it’s important for Cairo to understand that it’s okay to have moments of sadness and that emotions are a natural part of life.
Tia embraces her role as a single mother by focusing on being present. She explained in another interview that she often feels in “survival mode,” balancing the many demands of parenting.
Her days are spent making sure her children are healthy, fed, and cared for — even down to the small details, like checking for holes in their socks. For Tia, ensuring her family’s well-being remains her top priority.
This commitment is clear in the moments she shares with her kids. In an Instagram post, Tia shared a photo of herself with her children, sparking heartfelt reactions from her followers.
“They look just like you,” said one. Another added, “They’re growing up so quickly, I remember the hospital bag video for her.” Someone else stated, “Cree is so tall. Awww, your baby girl is so beautiful.”
Balancing motherhood and personal growth, Tia embraced the possibility of love again. In “Tia Mowry: My Next Act” — a series about her fearless journey of self-discovery — Tia stepped back into the dating world with a blind date.
The experience went well, and although the future was uncertain, she felt proud of herself for being open to new possibilities.
While Tia explores new chapters, Tamera continues to enjoy her marriage to journalist Adam Housley, whom she wed in 2011. After 13 years of marriage, Tamera shared in an interview that communication has become more intuitive, allowing them to understand each other with ease.
Despite this, new challenges still arise. The couple has built a strong bond through both verbal and non-verbal connection. Tamera and Adam share two children, Aden and Ariah. She acknowledged that parenting has become more challenging as they grow older.
While it was simpler to guide them when they were younger, today’s world presents new concerns. Tamera emphasized the importance of safeguarding their mental well-being, especially with the challenges her kids face that didn’t exist during her own childhood.
Tamera often shares her love for her children, including a sweet post in September 2019 about her son Aden’s striking blue eyes.
She revealed that his eye color runs in the family, noting that both her uncle and grandfather on her dad’s side have blue eyes, as well as Aden’s uncle Arik and grandfather Art from Adam’s side. The mom of two affectionately admitted, “Those eyes get me every time.”
Her followers were quick to respond with admiration. One commented, “Oh my god. It’s a beautiful boy this eyes.” Someone else compared the mother and son, “He looks just like you, Tam.” Another gushed, “So handsome.”
Tamera’s love for her son, born in November 2012, remained evident over the years. In November 2021, she honored Aden’s 9th birthday with a tribute.
She celebrated his passion for soccer, baseball, and family, playfully noting his occasional fondness for his sister. The loving mom described her child, now 12, as a “bright light” and expressed gratitude for being his mother.
Tamera’s devotion to her children is clear in how she celebrates their milestones. In July 2021, she honored her daughter Ariah’s 7th birthday with an Instagram post and a touching montage.
Tamera described the now-nine-year-old as the embodiment of sunshine, noting her laughter, empathy, and kindness. Thankful for her daughter’s presence, she expressed love for “Miss Ariah Talea Housley.”
Tamera expressed her gratitude for motherhood in a heartfelt Mother’s Day post in May 2024. Alongside family photos, she acknowledged the joy and fulfillment her children bring, despite the challenges. They have given her a new perspective on life and inspired her to be a positive role model.
Tamera is looking forward to celebrating Christmas with Tia and their family, continuing cherished traditions of sharing a festive meal and quality time together.
This reunion is especially meaningful after the time they spent six months apart during the COVID-19 pandemic. When questions arose in 2024 about distance between the sisters, Tia explained that life changes and growing families have naturally shaped their paths.
Despite this, the love between them remains unwavering, and their bond, built on years of shared experiences, continues to endure.
Tia and Tamera Mowry’s journeys through motherhood, personal growth, and evolving family dynamics highlight their enduring bond. Despite life’s changes, the love and connection between the sisters remain a constant source of strength and inspiration.
